summary of the past week, according to my spam...

poor virgil gilbert - sounds like a troubled soul. he wrote to me earlier this week to tell me that "someone offered me money to do it.". now, he didn't tell me what it was, but from the tone of the subject line, i hope they paid him well.

dame sheridan, on the other hand, appears to be inventing her own language. she wrote to me to say "bichnga". her clumsy way of calling me a bitch n*g*a?

but danny house gets my googlewhack spam prize this week, with the seemingly unconnected "arboretum bedtime".

just an aside: worryingly, i also seem to have been sending myself spam recently - but i don't give anything away in the subject line, so can't enter any of them here. nice to know that my out of office has been working though, as i also sent myself a message thanking me for the spam, but saying that i'd be out of the office until friday, and would respond then. i'll add that to my to do list...

Sending yourself spam is cheating!

Following your excellent summary I have to add my favourites from the 1000+ that were waiting for me today.

At the top of the list has to be "Is your skills about to be expired?". I'm sure if my skills is expired I would endeavour to find someone with a slightly better grasp of the English lnaguage to update them!

Second place goes to "Lisp style has evolved this way because it gets results?". I think this might have been the clue for 17 down in the Guardian cryptic crossword last saturday...

Finally "craps rule" - being a fan of toilet humour I have to agree with the sentiment. There's simply nothing like a big pile of poo!

nice one abbi - the answer to 17 down was "pan fried mullet" i believe.
